An AIOPET entry is not proof that a condition, treatment or payment meets a policy requirement and does not replace forms or evidence requested by the insurer.

When registering with a new practice, ask what information it needs and how official records should be transferred. The previous practice holds the professional history it created, including examination findings, diagnoses, test results, treatments and prescriptions. Arrange transfer directly between the relevant providers where requested.

Your AIOPET profile can help prepare current medicines, vaccination dates, microchip details and a concise timeline of concerns. This owner-managed summary may make registration and the first consultation easier, but it cannot reproduce the complete clinical record.
